My Mission Statement: Serving my God that is way bigger than my understanding, Serving my wife who is way more than I deserve, and raising three of the greatest gifts God could ever give me. I recently finished graduate school at Anderson University and am currently serving God at Five Forks Baptist in Simpsonville. I love to read, play music, live life in community with my fitness ministry friends, and just spend time enjoying the life God has gifted me with. I am also a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer.

As for the “Youth Guy” in the title of this blog, I don’t use that term lightly. I count it an extreme honor and challenge to work with students. Early on in ministry, I had someone introduce me to another colleague as “the Youth Guy.” It was a lesser title to him than a “real” minister, but it fit me. I like it. I happily wear the badge “Youth Guy.”
